It was Hickory, a beautiful pit bull with a big smile. Unfortunately, he is on the euthanasia list at the Animal Care Center Shelter in New York. I also reared my children with these pets. They are incredibly affectionate. The only problem was that adopting this adorable dog would probably be too late because Mario was working in California. Mario bravely decided to make several calls at work.The travel from California to New York, without stops, can take more than two days. Fortunately, they were able to transport it by truck to New York. They even had my phone number on the third day. \u201cYes, Mario,\u201d they said. It remains. It remains.Mario drove as fast as he could since he was excited to see the new family member.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload wp-image-6580 aligncenter\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 587 489'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/freedby.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/dog-lovely-300x250.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"587\" height=\"489\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Hickory\u2019s excitement and apparent recognition that Mario had grown to be a major source of happiness for him were the most \u201csurprising\u201d aspects of all. traveled more than 4,000 kilometers.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-expand=\"600\" class=\"lazyload wp-image-6581 aligncenter\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;charset=utf-8,%3Csvg xmlns%3D'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg' viewBox%3D'0 0 587 393'%2F%3E\" data-src=\"https:\/\/freedby.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/dogs-300x201.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"587\" height=\"393\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When I told him we were leaving, he started madly wagging his tail.\u201dHe would constantly jump on me and kiss me.\u201d As soon as he got home, Hickory made friends with his two new pit bull brothers. But when Mario realized he had to return to work, he wouldn\u2019t let him go.
