Rachael Ray is setting the record straight after fans expressed concern over a video where she appeared to slur her words \ud83d\ude15.<\/p>\n

In the very first episode of her new podcast, \u201cI\u2019ll Sleep When I\u2019m Dead\u201d<\/em> \ud83c\udf99\ufe0f, the beloved chef and TV personality opened up about what\u2019s really been going on behind the scenes.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m a homemaker. I love chores. I love being in the kitchen,\u201d Rachael shared \ud83e\uddfc\ud83c\udf73. \u201cI always work with my brain every day \u2014 I\u2019m always writing something \u2014 but I really like chores.\u201d<\/p>\n

She went on to say how much she enjoys physical tasks \ud83e\udeb5\ud83d\udcaa: \u201cI like what people consider physical work. I like making dinner, planning dinners, making lists. I love physical labor, helping carry in the wood.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rachael also mentioned she sometimes turns chores into a friendly competition with her husband, John \ud83d\udc91. \u201cHow many pieces of wood did John carry? Can I carry more? I don\u2019t say that to John. I just say it to myself,\u201d she said with a chuckle.<\/p>\n

But lately, the 56-year-old has had to slow down. Over the past several weeks, she revealed, she\u2019s suffered \u201ca couple of bad falls\u201d \ud83e\udd15. Though she didn\u2019t share specific details about the accidents or her injuries, it\u2019s clear the incidents have taken a toll.<\/p>\n

Concerns about her health began surfacing in early September when Rachael posted a clip on Instagram. Fans quickly noticed she seemed to be slurring her words and that part of her face appeared droopy \ud83d\udcf1\ud83d\ude2c.<\/p>\n

\u201cLook at her mouth. It looks like she may be recovering from a stroke,\u201d one fan commented \ud83d\ude28. Another added, \u201cSounds tipsy to me. And she looks bloated. I hope she gets the help she needs or she will be another person dead from the awful disease of addiction.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite the speculation, Rachael remained silent\u2014until now. Her recent update has finally given fans clarity, and many are relieved to hear from her directly \ud83d\ude4c\u2764\ufe0f.<\/p>\n
