Chase Varns is a young drummer and guitarist who performed on stage at the age of 13. He has been playing the drums since he was four and taught himself guitar two years before the performance. He grew up on a farm, and his dream is to perform on a world stage to make people happy.
For his performance, Chase sang two songs. The first song he performed did not seem to impress the judges.
He then performed a rendition of “Life Goes On” by Ed Sheeran. One judge commented that Chase’s performance reminded him of a young Justin Bieber, while another judge described him as a “diamond in the rough” with a lot of potential, despite being nervous.
Ultimately, Chase received three “yes” votes from the judges, allowing him to advance in the competition.
